We invite you to come check out one of our Sunday morning groups. Classes begin at 9:45 a.m.

The JOY class is an eclectic mix of individuals and married couples ranging in age from mid 30’s to 60’s.  The diversity of religious backgrounds and varying stages of life represented by our members lend to the thought provoking discussions that are a hallmark of our class. Meets in Rm. 305/309

The Explorers Class would love for you to join us!  If you are young (30-50) and want to fellowship with others at St. James by talking about family and marriage in addition to bible study and current topics, this is the place for you!  We will start off the year with Adam Hamilton’s Enough series, along with the rest of the church.  After that, we will have discussions based on different speakers’ topics, video series, books, etc. Meets in Rm. 304

A group of married and singles from late fifties to seventies who study a variety of topics led by class members with occasional guest speakers. Topics range from current or historical books as well as interesting video/discussion series chosen by the class in planning sessions. Meets in Rm. 311

This eclectic group of married and singles in their 60s-70s primarily use Cokesbury’s Adult Bible Studies as well as other relevant material. They enjoy discussion, which guides their time together. The class is led by Mike Dreaden and other class members. Meets in Rm. 301

United Fidelity

A class of seniors who enjoy a variety of programs including International Bible Lessons for Christian Teaching as well as topics presented by a rotation of excellent St. James teachers on current books or historical topics. They are currently enjoying a series of young adults who grew up at St. James returning to share their life’s journey and the role this church has had in their lives. Meets in Rm. 303

Using a diverse curriculum, we seek a spiritual connection to God and one another through study, service, and fellowship. Classes are usually discussion based with shared leadership. Singles and couples are warmly welcome. Meets in Rm. 302

Parlor People

We always have coffee and a spot for conversation with others in the large parlor or a quiet corner in the smaller parlor.

We host Children’s Sunday school classes on the children’s wing downstairs.

We offer classes for both middle and high school students. All youth gather in the Youth Room at 9:45 a.m. and then break out into small groups.
