Toddler Camp is back for a fifth year! It's time to have some fun with our youngest friends at St. James! We will encourage developmentally appropri-ate art, music, and movement activities in addition to having lots of time for parallel play and making new friends. Parents pack a snack, diaper, cup and a change of clothes for each camper. Campers will be registered on a first come-first served basis.
No more than 6 pre-walkers will be registered.

During Music, Art & Drama (MAD) Week, we learn songs, dances and make props and scenery to a biblical musical. Participants are asked to take part in all aspects of preparing for this production under the guidance of the St. James staff, par-ents, and youth. At 7:00 pm on the final day (Friday), we present the musical for family, friends, and church members. Your child/youth will enjoy fun and fellowship and will make new friends. The registration fee includes the cost of music and a performance t-shirt.
Youth (grades 7-12) who sign up to participate will assist the adults in various areas of produc-tion. They do not pay a registration fee, will re-ceive a free t-shirt, and have a pizza lunch on Thursday!

“Princess in Flight” Ballet Camp August 6th-10th
Ages: 3-5 Hours: 9am-12pm Cost: $175

Ballet Camp is a structured program designed for the early development of technical ballet and movement. It pre-cisely meets the needs and limitations of pre-schoolers by providing a carefully paced sequence of exercises to develop physical conditioning with poise and grace. In the program, children learn self-discipline, listening skills, coordination skills, left and right discrimination, patterns in movement, and pre-ballet.
Students are exposed to several variations of the fine arts, including Ballet technique activities, Drama, Musi-cal Theater, and several Art projects.
A mini-recital performance will be held the last day of camp to let the children show off what they have learned.
Dress Code:
Girls will need a pink leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers. Tights are optional due to the hot weather. Long hair should be pulled away from the face. Please label all dance attire! |
