Bible Challenge/Worship Readiness: These programs are designed specifically for our children to learn more about the order of worship we employ, our United Methodist heritage and challenge them to grow as young Christians. In Bible Challenge, children begin in Kindergarten to memorize key bible verses, hymns and creeds. Children are recognized for their achievements along each level of the challenge with beads for a very special necklace and a presentation during Children’s Sunday each spring. Dot Schwotzer continues to be the lead on this outstanding program for our children. In Worship Readiness, 1st and 2nd Graders meet to learn about and discuss the order of worship and to begin to understand the liturgy. This program thrives under the leadership of Stacey and Andy Cimowsky and culminates in the spring with a private and special communion service with the Senior Pastor.
