The St. James Prayer Ministry offers the congregation and community an opportunity to grow closer in relationship to God through intercessory prayer.

Visit the prayer room, room 201 outside the sanctuary. You will find our church and community prayer request board, where you can pray for others or add your own concerns. You can read or borrow any of the prayer resource book available, or write a note to those you have prayed for. Using the prayer notebook you can pray for the staff, families, children, youth, and ministry leaders of St. James, as well as those in our community, state, country, and beyond. Add a personal confidential prayer request in the prayer request box near the door.

When you visit the prayer room you may also sign up to pray on a particular day of the week or month. You may want to pray on Sunday mornings during the worship services, or every Wednesday morning for a month. During the Lenten season, we will be asking people to commit to pray for one hour per week for the ministries and families of St. James UMC.
