Sundays in the Choir Room

Youth Choir from 5-6 pm

The organization for our MYF-age youth (grades 7-12) sings music in a variety of styles. In addition to singing at St. James worship and special programs, they take an annual choir tour.

Youth Ensemble from 4:30 to 5 pm

This group consists of interested youth choir members of high school age (grades 9-12) who want to sing more challenging SATB music. They must also be a member of the Youth Choir.

The title for this year's Youth Choir Tour is
SUMMER SERVANTS

Based on the play "Mission Adventure," this is the story of four teen contestants chosen to take the adventure of their lives. The undertaking, though, is not what they expect. Thru a series of short episodes, they are put in situations where they're forced to reflect on the type of person they really are. By mission's end, they realize this "adventure" is God's way of molding us into the person he would like for us to be.

June 3 - Stay at Wesleyan College in Macon
June 4 - Sing at St. Augustine's Shores United Methodist Church
June 5 - Sing at Mariner Assisted Living in St. Augustine
June 6 - Visit Universal's "Islands of Adventure" in Orlando
June 7 - Sing at Hampton Manor in Ocala, FL
June 8 - Sing at New Harvest United Methodist in Valdosta
