Personally, she often felt trapped as an actress and after marrying a millionaire, found peace in inventing. Something that wasn’t taken seriously until the U.S. entered the cold war and needed to send private messages. From then on, her technology paved the way for the modern-day WIFI, Bluetooth and GPS we use every day.
