The St. James Kids’ Consignment Sale takes place twice per year. Our next sale will be the 2014 Fall/Winter Sale, which is scheduled for September 26-27.
Registration begins Sunday August 3, in the church office. The registration fee is $5 through August 29. The fee will be $10 from August 30 through September 10 at 4:00 p.m. Registrations received after 4:00 p.m. on September 10 will be taken at the discretion of the co-chairs and will be subject to a $15 fee. Please provide a check or exact change. Hand-deliver or mail your form and payment into the church office. Never mail cash. Within about 48-72 hours of receipt of your registration, you will receive a confirmation email that will include a link to reserve your Check-In time.
Join us to shop for high quality children’s clothing, furniture, toys, books, and accessories, as well as maternity items. Better yet, sign up to be a consignor! Consignors who volunteer for 2 or more shifts receive 75% of the selling price. Consignors who volunteer for 1 shift receive 70% of the selling price. All other consignors receive 65% of the selling price. All sale proceeds retained by St. James are used to support children’s ministries at St. James UMC.
Our Kids’ Consignment Sales are held in the gym located in our Activities Building. The public sales are always held on a Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Saturday is half price day when many of our items will be marked down 50%. Our preview sale for volunteers ONLY is held on Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Anyone can sign-up to be a volunteer; you do not have to consign in the sale. “Super volunteers” who volunteer more get to shop at 6:00 p.m.
